Combobox edit field

Is there something similar with Blazorise? I looked at Input Select sample (using select) but in my case I need to bind the items dynamically for a data source, is it possible. Also the select with multiple selection needs to be always expanded?

I guess it could be created with Dropdown and by adding the Check to the DropdownItem. Other than that the best option that supports multiple selection would be an Autocomplete component with Multiple mode on, https://blazorise.com/docs/extensions/autocomplete

We recently got several question regarding the Select with checkboxes so we have in mind to create it probably for the next milestone(1.2).

Thank you. How about dynamic binding of DropDownItems list?

mladenmacanovic commented

Do you mean with the DropDownList? That might work but we would have to add something like an ItemTemplate so that items content could be defined manually.

@David-Moreira what do you think?

dhileaga commented

That it'll be very nice indeed ,..

Hello,
We already have this issue for tracking this feature:
https://github.com/Megabit/Blazorise/issues/3401

We were thinking in doing it as part of the Autocomplete component since Autocomplete with Multiple and MinItems set to 0 is already pretty much it. Just that its mssing checkbox support.

Also, you can probably just manually implement it by using the Autocomplete ItemContent if you can't wait for the feature to be available.

Yes I started a ComboBox component using autocomplete. But the list needs to have all the items visible without typing. Also I need to select what is already in the edit box.

Set MinLength="0" and it should show all items by default.
